What may be included
- Wood, metal, and resin sheds after an on-site scope review
- Dismantled shed materials and approved contents
- Loading, hauling, and a final sweep of the agreed work area
What shapes the quote
- Shed dimensions and construction
- Condition, anchoring, and floor or pad
- Gate width, truck access, landscaping, and nearby structures
How to prepare
Keep people and pets away from an unstable shed. Photograph the structure from every side, then photograph the route from the shed to the street. Remove only safe, movable obstacles. Do not disconnect utilities or disturb a leaning wall unless a qualified person has confirmed the method.
Define the boundary before work starts
Ask whether the approved scope covers contents, shelving, roof material, the floor, anchors, a wood platform, or a concrete pad. Paint, fuel, pesticides, propane cylinders, batteries, and unknown liquids need advance review and may require another disposal route.
Questions to ask
Does the quote include the foundation?
Confirm this in writing. Structure removal, wood platforms, anchors, and concrete work can be separate scope items.
Can the crew remove the contents too?
Approved ordinary contents may be included. Restricted, liquid, hazardous, or unknown materials need to be disclosed before service.
What photos are useful?
Send all four sides, the interior, the base, roof damage, anchors, and a continuous view of the route to the truck.
